The Gym City Kings program realizes the power and influence that coaches have in the lives of
student athletes… the same child who has trouble in his class, will be the best kid in “basketball school” aka Practice and Games…
Why…. ??, because kids are really interested in basketball so they “kinda listen” lol. (Laughing at the Kinda)… but take a look at the photo on this post… imagine if every classroom had this type of focus… focus like this on math or science. We would see much better test scores and success in school as a whole…
So The Kings will be having a tutoring program this season… before every practice our kids will have a 30 minute study table. The study hall will be supervised by volunteers who can help children get strong in all areas of academics…
While we have the leverage of playing time, participation in basketball ?, we will use it to get our kids to achieve academic excellence.
